Five Truths for the In-Between
Words for the tender middle where certainty has not arrived yet.
The in-between can be uncomfortable. The old season has loosened its hold, but the next one has not taken shape. When you cannot rush your way to clarity, return to truths that make room for uncertainty without letting it define you.
One: Not knowing is not the same as failing
You are allowed to be in process. A missing answer does not mean you missed your chance. Some clarity comes only after you have lived a little farther into the question.
Let today be about paying attention rather than forcing a conclusion. Notice what brings relief, what creates resistance, and what keeps returning to your heart.
Two: Rest is still part of the work
The quiet stretches are not empty. Rest gives your inner voice enough room to become audible again. You do not need to produce visible progress every day for something meaningful to be changing within you.
Three: You can hold more than one feeling
You can miss what was and still know it was time to leave. You can feel grateful and want more. You can be hopeful and afraid. Your feelings do not have to agree before they are worthy of care.
Four: A small next step is enough
When the whole path is hidden, choose what is kind, honest, and possible today. One conversation, one application, one hour of rest, or one boundary can become a bridge to what comes next.
Five: You are still becoming
This middle place is not your final identity. You are gathering language, courage, and wisdom you may not recognize until later. Trust that your life can be unfinished and still be deeply worthy.
You do not have to rush through the middle. There is life here, too.
